Position Description
The 2nd Shift Packaging Operator assists with procedures associated with line set-up and cleaning, labeling, filling, casing along with quality inspections and machine operation.
Major Areas of Responsibility
· Assist in department/equipment clean-up and set-up.
· Assist in ensuring product quality expectations are exceeded.
· Perform various department tasks as assigned by the Manager / Line Leader.
· Perform in-process inspections of packaged products for quality defects on a continual basis.
· Visual inspection of manufacturing areas for in-process deficiencies and cleanliness.
· Review of batch record for completion and proper documentation.
· Physical attendance is an essential element of the job.

Desirable Education and Experience
· Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
· One year or more of manufacturing experience.
· Experience associated with exceptional work quality / customer service skills.
