Position Description
Blending Operators are responsible for procedures associated with powder blender operation, equipment set-up and cleaning, monitoring and testing of final product quality, quality inspections and equipment operation.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Assist in Powder Formulation/Blending department equipment clean-up and set-up.
Perform various equipment checks, and formulation/blending operation tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Perform in-process inspections of formulated/blended product for quality conformity on a continual basis.
Visual inspection of manufacturing areas for in-process deficiencies and cleanliness.
Verify that equipment is operating correctly.
Review of batch record for completion and proper documentation.
Physical attendance is an essential element of the job.
Desirable Education and Experience
Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
One year or more of manufacturing experience.
Experience associated with exceptional work quality / customer service skills.
